   The pottery classes are eight weeks long and cover the basics of making pottery at the wheel or by hand.  The pottery classes are available in Oak Park and LaGrange Park.  I also teach a class on firing the wood kiln and alternative kilns at the College of DuPage.

Terra Incognito, Oak Park, IL

    I teach the Tuesday night wheel throwing class for adults at Terra Incognito.  The class has access to a gas reduction kiln, wood kiln and Raku kiln.  I also occasionally run the Friday night wheel throwing Groupon class for beginners at the studio.  Information about classes Terra Incognito can be found at their website.

village potters, La Grange Park, IL

    I teach the Monday night hand building and the Wednesday morning classes for adults at Village Potters.  The classes learn to utilize the electric kiln and the opportunity to take part in Raku firings at my studio.  I also run private clay parties at the studio for both adults and children.  To learn about Village Potters visit their website.

college of dupage, glen ellyn, il

  I teach the wood firing class at the College of DuPage, the class is for ceramics students in the art program.  I also teach the continuing education class, alternative kiln firing methods which is open to anyone wanting to fire wood, raku and pit kilns.  Both classes run together on Saturdays for six weeks in the spring or fall terms.
